Meagan Jolley is a Cleveland, TN native and member of Candies Creek Baptist Church. She is a 2004 magna cum laude graduate of Lee University with a bachelor’s degree in communication, emphasis in public relations, with minors in religion and music. She was the president of the Ladies of Lee touring choir while there.
For the last 14 years she has worked for See Rock City Inc. in public relations for these businesses in different capacities: Rock City Gardens, Ruby Falls, ZIPStream, the Incline Railway, Blowing Springs Farm, Clumpies Ice Cream Co., Starbucks, Grandview, Battles for Chattanooga museum and RiverView Inn. She specializes in media relations, writing, social media management and particularly loves her work with community partnerships such as the Ronald McDonald House. She graduated from Southeast Tourism Society marketing college in 2010 with the travel marketing professional certification and is currently serving on boards for the Walker County Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Chattanooga Hospitality Association. Past board experience includes president of the Cleveland Media Association, the MaryEllen Locher Foundation, Southeast Tourism Society, Cleveland Emmaus/Chrysalis Community and past Chrysalis lay director.
Meagan has taught adjunct tourism and PR classes at both Lee University and Chattanooga State and has enjoyed connecting with students in these programs. She graduated from the Walker County Leadership program in 2016 and is a member of the Chattanooga Convention & Visitors Bureau PR committee, Public Relations Society of America Lookout Chapter and is a past PRSA Peer Award recipient for professional excellence.
She has done mission work in Nicaragua with a children’s ministry and most recently helped in VBS on a mission trip last summer in Kodiak, Alaska. She was the children’s choir director for many years at Candies Creek and taught children’s Sunday school. She has a heart for kids, and one of her greatest joys is spending time with her nieces and nephews.
